-Koottu Curry(Veg)
































INGREDIENTS:1) 1cup brown Chickpea(kadala)
2) ½ cup roughly cut yam(chena)
3) ½ cup roughly cut plantain
4) 1 cup grated coconut
5) 1 tbsp chilli powder
6) 1 tbsp coriander powder
7) 1 pinch turmeric
8) 1 tsp pepper powder
9) curry leaves
10) 2 dried chilli
11) oil(preferably coconut oil
12) salt
13) 2 tbsp dried cut coconut(tenga kottu)

METHOD OF PREPARATION:
1)Soak brown chickpea in water overnight
2)Cook chickpea along with yam, plantain turmeric powder,pepper powder and 2 cups of water in a pressure cooker for 2 whistle
3)In a pan heat 1 tbsp coconut oil and fry grated coconut until it turns golden brown(nb: keep stiring it on low flame)
4)Switch off the flame and add chilli powder and corriander powder
5)Now to the pressure cooker add the fried coconut(nb: evaporate excess water if present in pressure cooker before adding fried coconut)
6)Now in a pan take 1 tsp coconut oil,add mustard, dried cut coconut,curry leaves and dried chilli
7)When dried cut coconut turns golden brown add it to the pressure cooker finally garnish it with coriander leaves
